Building Embedded Solutions Using Windows CE 5.0

This training provides knowledge and practical experience in the use of the Microsoft Windows CE version 5.0 operating system. The objective is to introduce the tools and technologies used to construct customized images of the Windows CE 5.0 operating system. Tools and techniques for developing applications for Windows CE 5.0 are also covered.

Intended Audience

This course is aimed at hardware and software engineers who wish to acquire ample knowlege of the Windows CE 5.0 operating system and the Platform Builder development tool.

Prerequisites

Familiarity with embedded systems (computer architecture) and experience programming in C/C++ are required for this training. Prior knowledge of Windows CE and Platform Builder is not required.

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Exams

There are no Microsoft Certified Professional exams associated with this course.

Course Length

5 days (35 hours)

Material

The students will receive printed course material containing copies of the slides, accompanying descriptions and lab work. All printed material is part of the official curriculum and is written in English. The slides used for class lectures are also in English.

Course Completion Certificate

The participants who complete this MOC will receive a "Microsoft Windows Embedded Training" course completion certificate directly from Microsoft.
